Started playing piano in 4th grade. From there, our Middle School Orchestra teacher needed a String Bass player and I volunteered for the job. I played in classical orchestras from 7th grade to Senior in High School and my classical experience culminated with a trip to Finland playing in the All Michigan Youth Symphony for a 5 week tour of Finland in 1975. One of the violinists in the orchestra was also an organist at a Gospel Church in Ann Arbor MI. Once I experienced Gospel/Pop music, I decided I wanted to play the electric bass. I played bass guitar and sang in various local bands from the late 70's through 1989 as a Full time musician. I took a break from the music business from 1990 through 2010. I got back into the music scene in 2011 and joined the Bugs Beddow and worked with him for 6 yrs. Since then, I have played in various local bands including Dr. Pocket, Sonic Freeway, Trio Grande and Powderfinger Detroit.
